Comments from Readers:

I was staying in Kalispell, Montana and found this
book at a local book store. A great read! Sweet
characters! Good relationships! Old-time American
faith and values! I recommend it for the whole
family!

This is truly a wonderful story of the Montana west
and the hardships encountered by their residents.
The story is romantic with good Christian values.
Could hardly put it down. Would love to read a
sequel to this wonderful story. Would recommend
this book to all lovers.
Gail Hinson (Charlotte, NC)

This book was reminiscent of the way life used to
be. It showed interesting relationships between
people and yet portrayed high moral standards.
My copy has been passed on to other family
members that have greatly enjoyed it also.

“This is an inspiring story with a message for average folks, living through real troubles, by faith in a wonderful God,
who never leaves nor forsakes us.  It’s written in a style which is simple, straight forward, realistic and country.
Sharon Flesch has put practical faith in Jesus Christ on a shelf low enough for all of us to reach when inevitable trials
    come our way.”
    - Jim Hunter, Pastor and Director of Pathwalkers Ministries, Rocky Mountain Bible Mission

“Though Montana Morning is fiction, Flesch portrays two profound truths that we know as Christians. First, one person’
s life of faith shown forth in word and deed has a powerful, rippling effect in family and community.  Second, we very
much need each other as Christians so that when one is weak, the other can be strong.   I will joyfully recommend
    this book to many.”
    - Janet Young, Lay Pastoral Associate, ELCA Montana Synod

“Montana Morning is a truly good book, but it embodies deep Christian Values within the family structure. . . I
recommend it to anyone who enjoys the rural life style.  I grew up in western Montana and spent much of that period
working on ranches much like the one portrayed in this book.  It very much deserves a sequel in my opinion.”
    - Lynn McAtee, Ordained Catholic Deacon, Plains, MT

SHARON FLESCH, a third generation Montanan, was born in Havre and raised in western Montana, in the heart of
cattle country.  The granddaughter of horsemen and homesteaders, she has an abiding respect for the land and the
people who make their living off the land.

“Quilting bees, Grange hall dances, hard work and faith in God were a part of my childhood.  My dad’s father was a
horse trainer and trader in southwestern Montana, and my dad spent a part of his childhood living in ‘Robber’s
Roost’.  His mother cooked in mining and sheep camps.  My mom’s parents homesteaded in Whitepine, just west
active in the local grange.  I learned to dance at the grange by riding around the floor on Gramp’s toes while my dad
played in the band.  It is this rich heritage that I bring to my writing.”
